The Govt. has decided to introduce Visiting Faculty Scheme (VFS) as a program to extend the service of experienced teachers and experts from industries to the polytechnic colleges in the state. Objective of this Programme is to impart training to the diploma students through awareness programmes by expert faculty from institutes of eminence like engineering colleges, NIITs and IITs/IISCs, senior faculty from reputed institutions and experts from industries and consultancy services so as to equip them for innovative technology. Visiting faculty programmes are conducted for the students to improve their technical knowledge apart from their curriculum. The feedback received from the students has been encouraging for all the programs conducted under Visiting Faculty Scheme and accordingly more programs are planned.
